Ian Morrison is an internationally known author, consultant, and futurist specializing in long-term forecasting and planning with particular emphasis on health care and the changing business environment. He combines research and consulting skills with an incisive Scottish wit to help public and private organizations plan their longer-term future.

Ian has written, lectured, and consulted on a wide variety of forecasting, strategy, and health care topics for government, industry, and a variety of nonprofit organizations in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Mr. Morrison will focus on the topic "Doing the Right Things in Healthcare".

Blair Childs is Senior Vice President of Public Affairs for Premier, leading the Advocacy, Communications, Safety and thought leadership units and serving on the company’s executive team. He works with the Congress, White House, and other policymakers involved in health policy.

Childs has been at the center of policy issues for more than two decades, playing a leading role on issues impacting medical devices, pharmaceuticals, insurers, and hospitals.

Mr Childs will focus on the topic "Changes Needed to be Able to Do the Right Things".

The formal October 31st presentations will be followed by an open discussion with Q&A.
