Healthcare reform went into effect earlier this year. As a country we have not seen this magnitude of change since the 1960's when Medicare was introduced. But even before healthcare reform, there were serious challenges for healthcare providers:

  • Determining viable long-term strategies
  • Making meaningful investments in healthcare IT
  • Enhancing your business model to ensure financial success

Now there is even more to learn, more to understand. And important decisions to be made.

To help you get the information you need to make informed decisions, the community will be hosting a Healthcare Symposium. We are bringing national thought leaders to Rochester to provide insights into the challenges and the opportunities in the new legislation, as well as exhibitors to demonstrate the latest in EMR technology.

Symposium objectives:

  • Provide clarity around new models of patient centered healthcare, the impact it will have on reimbursement and opportunities for improving profitability.
  • Demonstrate different Electronic Medical Records solutions and communicate what is needed to achieve meaningful use to qualify for federal funding.
  • Share information on how to re-engineer work processes to take advantage of new technology, reduce administrative costs and minimize the loss of staff productivity.

You can choose to attend either the evening of Thursday, November 4th or the morning of Friday, November 5th. You select the sessions that are most useful and the times that best suit your schedule.

A donation to the St. Joseph's Neighborhood Center will be made with proceeds from the event.
